Those present for the special program will have a chance to acquire redemption codes that will reward them with 300 Polychromes for a limited time.
The Version 2.3 update follows a strong pace set by the Version 2.2 update, which included the debut of characters Seed and Orphie as members of the OBOL Squad, along with new bosses, The Defiler and The Defector.
The focus of Version 2.3 has been shifted to the Spook Shack faction, as their exciting look was confirmed with several new characters announced.
New Characters and Rumors
Version 2.3 heralds the appearance of three characters from the Spook Shack. The first trips that will be confirmed are Yidhari and Lucia as S-Rank featured characters, with Komano Manato expected to join as an A-Rank character.
Expectedly, Version 2.3 will continue and expand on storylines and allow players to explore new gameplay experiences tied to the faction.
Rumors suggest that there may also be a re-run of fan-favorite Electric characters Harumasa and Soldier 0 Anby in Version 2.3. There is also speculation that skin characters recently introduced may return to the fun as Vivian, who was first released in Version 1.7 as an S-Rank character.
There has been no confirmation front HoYoverse regarding these characters returning, but the anticipation of new banners and tiers is high.
Anticipated Content and Date
Over the course of its prior updates, HoYoverse has used the introductions to spotlight the Spook Shack faction by first introducing Yuzuha and Alice in Version 2.1 during a large summer event, and afterwards, characters were greeted with excitement.
Both characters and factions gained a strong footing after the update was released, with Yuzuha receiving shout- outs from the audience as one of the strongest support units in the game. HoYoverse appears to be going in the same direction for the Version 2.3 update, while providing even more content to the faction's fan base.
The Version 2.3 update is expected to officially launch on October 15, which gives players a little over two weeks after the special program to prepare for the content that will be Grammy in their fingers soon.
