The game has seen continued growth in popularity and new seasonal content releases approximately every three months since release; season three completes the Hexi Expansion chapter that was introduced in March 2026, with season three containing an influx of new content such as a new region, new quests, and significant upgrades to progression. Season three will run until July 23, 2026.
New Region, World Boss, and Gameplay Additions
The centerpiece of this update is the addition of the new region Qinchuan, described by developers as a landscape where grass, trees, clouds, and mountains intermingle within a magnificent natural environment. To enter Qinchuan, players must reach level 14, complete the Qinghe Main Chapter quest "By Lamplight," as well as finish the Liangzhou Campaign mission "Dasan Pass."
In addition, many new quests will be available for players to complete in the new region, including "Lost Chapter: To Friends, to the End" and two new Jianghu Legacy missions. A new unique World Boss called Snowplum Requiem has been added, challenging players to defeat two musical siblings wielding deadly weaponry created with melodies. Players will be rewarded with Echo Jades for defeating this World Boss for the first time.
A new Mystic Skill called "Idle Wind" allows players to become gusts of wind while exploring the Qinchuan landscape. Additionally, two new multiplayer campaigns for player characters level 91 have been introduced: Serpent's Fang, which is designed for teams of five players, and Bloodstained Sands, which accommodates teams of ten players.
Level Cap Increase and Upcoming Events
Progression upgrades are meaningful with update version 1.6, including raising the max character level from 90 to 95, raising the breakthrough cap from 13-14 clarity, raising the gear tier cap from level 89-91 and adding a new Tier 86 Arsenal. Additionally, the game will celebrate its first half-year anniversary from April 30, 2026 - June 24, 2026; players can earn a new commemorative outfit and fifteen draws during the event through event participation.
Lastly, in the upcoming "Let It Snow" event, players can earn the Mystic Skill Stone Pier, permanently available after May 21, 2026, plus a new outfit named the Rhythmic Echo set, now added into the game's permanent gacha banner draw. Players wanting to maximize their reward opportunities during this new season should focus on fast experience accumulation techniques and completing daily/weekly tasks related to the updated Battle Pass.
