The Deed: Dynasty is a sequel to The Deed: 2015, and like its predecessor, this new title covers multiple eras/locations. The game's format was originally created using RPG Maker, like many of Pilgrim Adventures.
In the game, players assume lead roles as they complete scenarios that require them to commit a murder in order to escape suspicion through means of interference via their scenario choices and also place incriminating evidence in order for them to maintain innocence, while passing the blame to someone else. To do this, players must strategically plant evidence and strategically decide how to act in their best interest.
The various time periods cover several unique weapons and methods of approaching the task of the murder mystery in each time period: Medieval England, the Old West, and during the Victorian Era. Each time period adds diversity and adds a twist to the proven formula of murder mystery stories.
Players can claim The Deed: Dynasty from the Steam store for zero dollars by selecting the "Add to Account" option. Players do not have to install right now, but it will always be part of their account once claimed. The Deed: Dynasty has a standard retail price of $2.99, and the deadline to claim this title is December 25th.
Steam is also currently giving away other free games for a limited time, including: 100% Orange Juice until December 22nd, Rat Quest until December 25th, and Undercroft Warriors until December 31st. Over the holiday season, many other free games have been given away by distributors to PC gamers and have given players these freebies across multiple digital distributors. During the month of December, there will be more opportunities to add to your collection at no cost.
