Final Fantasy 16 Leads The Month
The biggest addition to the catalog this month is Final Fantasy 16, the latest mainline standalone entry in Square Enix's long-running RPG franchise. The title is set to land on PS5 on June 16 and is one of the strongest additions the service has seen in recent months. It's a well-regarded entry in one of gaming's most beloved series and a big reason alone to make use of the catalog this month for subscribers who haven't experienced it yet.

Here's the full list of games being added to PS Plus Extra and Premium this month, and their availability dates in the United States. Sonic X Shadow Generations will be released on PS5 and PS4 on June 10. Final Fantasy 16 PS5 June 16th release date. Kingdom Come: Deliverance (PS5, PS4) and Life is Strange: Double Exposure (PS5) both launch on June 23. Farming Simulator 25 PS5, Blades of Fire PS5, and Black Desert PS5 and PS4 join the catalog on June 30.
Gitaroo Man — PS Plus Premium Extra
Gitaroo Man joins the catalog on June 30 for PS5 and PS4, and is available for PS Plus Premium subscribers only. The rhythm game, which began in the PS2 era, has kept its loyal fans through the years thanks to its unique style and memorable soundtrack. Premium subscribers get to revisit or perhaps discover one of the stranger and more charming titles of that gaming era.
What the subscribers need to know
All of these titles are available with an active PS Plus Extra or Premium tier subscription. Those on the Essential tier will not be able to download or play these games and will not have access to the game catalog. Also, if a subscription lapses, access to all catalog games is suspended until the subscription is renewed.
