This mode, as per information from NetEase Games, will be available from June 6, 2025, till June 23, 2025. In it, players will play as an Ultron drone and battle opponents with tactics which includes adding superheroes to their squad.
Players are able to power up their heroes during each battle by using cards. This makes the game a bit more interesting and varied. It supports up to six players and everybody can play their own unique winning strategy and hero combination.
Guangyun Chen, Creative director, believes that this mode will allow players to experience teamwork and the new dynamics of superheroes in a great sense. This mode will have an auto-battler focus and will prompt players to learn new styles of play.
This mode also is coming in the Season 2.5 update which will see Ultron as a playable character. He will be able to fly, and use energy beams to attack and heal his fellow players — abilities which, in a different way, can also be seen in other heroes such as Storm and Iron Man.
The team-up abilities have also been revamped; some old ones have been taken away and some new powers have been added, offering more tricks in the combat bag.
This mode will only be available temporarily but if players respond to it well there is a chance it may become a permanent addition. It is not infrequently, in the history of games, that modes, originally intended as temporary, have gone on to dictate the very arc of a game.
For those players looking to try something else, this mode offers a great chance. Not only will that give the game a different face, but it has the potential to help grow the popularity and esports side of things.
