Since the early access version of Skate was released on September 16, fans have experienced a lot of connection problems. Long Queues and Connection Problems
It quickly emerged that players were put in a queue with more than 25,000 people, and there are screenshots showing over 50,000 players in line for the game. Many people lost patience after they had a long wait. In addition to those who were unable to get into the game, those who did were sometimes just booted from the game due to connection issues and had to get back in line. Other people spent an infinite amount of time waiting after completing the tutorial, or they received a message of no internet just as they were about to play.

Developer Reaction and What Happens Next
The connection problems set off some frustration on the part of fans, many of whom also played the previous Skate games, which had an offline mode. This drove some fans to question the issues surrounding an online-only launch, with all of the hype taking place. The development team has acknowledged that the demand was above expectations and confirmed they are adding servers to help with wait times, which will create more access to the game. With more players accessing the game, the connections should get more stable, but some users are still experiencing connectivity issues.
