Celebrating 30 Years of Rayman
Rayman launched in 1995 and was created by Ubisoft Montpellier, and has since been a franchise, spawning five main titles and spin-off games such as the famous Raving Rabbids series. The last core entry of Rayman was Rayman Legends in 2013. A 30th anniversary, along with the fan event of Rayman Alive, led developers to want to provide an official statement about the history of the series and the future of platforming in Rayman.

New Message and Upcoming Plans
The tweet included a three-minute video featuring Rayman brand producer Loic Gounon and composer Christophe Heral. First shown during the Rayman Alive fan event on September 1, the message explained that developers will be sharing behind-the-scenes stories, interviews and concept art, all to come in the coming months. Gounon also stated that Ubisoft Montpellier and Ubisoft Milan are making a new project about Rayman, but do not expect anything right away.

Fans' Excitement
Although there will be a wait, the news gave supporters hope that Rayman and the series have not been forgotten. Christophe Heral also appeared in the video and mentioned how he is thankful to fans for their messages supporting the music to Rayman, and he even played a little part live. The post has since sparked some excitement across the community, with many fans happy to know the franchise is not dead.
