Nearly nine years after it first launched, Fortnite is still one of the most popular video games on Earth. Epic Games has kept the battle royale momentum going with constant collaborations and crossovers with almost every facet of pop culture. The game is right in the middle of a season full of video game history, celebrating some of gaming's most iconic characters, even now.
A High-End Hot Toys Figure Brings Jonesy to Life
A new 1/6 scale Hot Toys figure based on Fortnite's Jonesy The First skin is now available for pre-order through Sideshow. The figure recreates the Uncommon Outfit in impressive detail, featuring tailored fabric clothing and an entirely new head sculpt. Every element has been crafted with precision, and the figure comes packed with accessories, including a pickaxe, rocket launcher, tactical shotgun, and flare gun. It even includes a Supply Llama that can be displayed alongside the figure. The release window is currently set for sometime between April and September 2027, though Hot Toys has noted this timeline is an estimate and shipping could extend as far as December 2027.
For comparison, purchasing the Jonesy The First skin directly in Fortnite's Item Shop typically costs 800 V-Bucks. The collectible figure, on the other hand, comes in at a much steeper $390 through Sideshow's pre-order listing. As a nice bonus, buyers of the Hot Toys figure will also receive a redeemable code granting them the actual in-game skin. With production limited to just 3,000 units worldwide, the figure is positioned as a genuinely exclusive collectible.
A Premium Brand Known for Detail and Exclusivity
Hot Toys is one of the most well-known names in 1/6 scale figure production, and has become famous for its Marvel and Star Wars collectibles. Occasionally the company will also dip its toes into video game based figures as well, maintaining the same high level of craftsmanship for all of its releases. The price tag is undeniably premium, but it's a reflection of the level of detail and the generous accessory sets the brand is known to include.
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 will run until October 31, 2026 and has already added several big names from gaming this season, including the recently added Lilith from Borderlands. Of course, these crossover collaborations continue to show off creative ways of incorporating gaming history into Fortnite and fans are excited to see which characters will be added to the lineup before the season ends.
