Fortnite leakers hint at KPop Demon Hunters collab. As recently disclosed by Fortnite leakers SpuishFNBR and Loolo, KPop Demon Hunters is supposedly in the works. They have assured fans that this will become available during the current season, which ends on November 1, although not much is known about the details.
Most likely, fans should expect more information to surface after the next update, late September, after dataminers have a chance to analyze the update.
With this being proposed at the peak popularity of the film KPop Demon Hunters, this would be the perfect opportunity for Epic to push a crossover with the film.
KPop Demon Hunters was the number 1 watched title on Netflix of all time, and it had the best theatrical release of a Netflix film of all time, in a short period of time of just 3 months since its release.
Fan predictions and potential content
Fortnite fans have been speculating as to what this crossover might bring. Some of the ideas would include character skins based on the characters Rumi, Mira, Zoey, or Saja Boys.
Fans have already outlined having a Soda Pop emote with a backbling based off the tiger and magpie pet from the film as well. This movie has had continued global success, and there seems to be a strong desire for things in-game.
Fortnite’s busy lineup of collaborations
The KPop Demon Hunters crossover is only one of many potential collaborations with Fortnite. Other leaks have hinted at the possibility of Sonic the Hedgehog, Silent Hill, Deep Rock Galactic, indie co-op game REPO, streamer IShowSpeed, and more.
In the meantime, a Power Rangers Megazord Rising event is officially set to run from September 18-October 3.
Fortnite's identity is based upon crossovers, and there are so many different themes lined up to come in the future, players probably will find something they enjoy, if they don’t like the KPop Demon Hunters possibilities.
