Unique Features Beyond MinecraftEverwind was initially titled SkyVerse, and it brings a number of original elements to the table. The game world consists of three vertically stacked biome types, each having its own unique terrain as well as specific monsters, with each area known as a layer.
Its signature feature is the customizable moving castle — an airship vessel that’s also a mobile base. The game will also have co-operative play that will see friends teaming up to construct, survive, and grow their joint floating fortress.
Release and Growing Popularity
Built on top of that strong community support since it was revealed in 2024, Everwind has now raised over €40,000 on Kickstarter, has been added to more than 300,000 Steam wishlists, and has been bubbling under Steam’s top 150 most- wishlisted games. Early access is expected in the first half of 2026 and full release in 2027. Console editions with crossplay are also in consideration, but no platforms or date have been set.
