Supercell Removed Old ID Names, Now Everyone Will Get A New Player ID – Know How to Change Your Name

This change is only related to your account identity, it will not have any effect on your game name or gameplay.
 

You can change your Player ID once for free

If you do not like the new Player ID name, then do not worry. Supercell is giving you a chance to change the name once – that too absolutely free.

All you have to do is go to the Supercell website and enter your given ID and choose the name you like. Once you choose a new name, then you will not get the option to change it again. And yes, the name you choose will be unique to you. No other player will be able to take that ID. So choose the name carefully.
 

What has changed?

From now on, Supercell ID names will no longer be used. Everyone will be given a new and unique Player ID, which will be determined by the name of your game.

This ID will be set automatically. If you do not like the ID given to you, you can change it once using the method mentioned above. Your game name, your friends, your progress – all this will remain the same.
 

Why was this change made?

Earlier, with Supercell ID, people were able to keep their accounts safe and login on different devices. Now according to them, the new Player ID system will make it easier and safer. There will be no confusion because now no two people will be able to keep the same ID name. This will also make login and account tracking easier.

If you want your ID name to be something special, then go quickly and change it. Because you have got the chance once, and later it will not be free.
