Death Stranding 2 trailer looks to be faster, more challenging, and more action-packed than ever before. Whether it's climbing, escaping floods, or fighting enemies—the game never stops. The game will release on PS5 on June 26, 2025. Get ready to keep your balance.

There will be new challenges in new areas
This time the story is not only spread in America but also in areas like Mexico and Australia. Somewhere there are deserts where kangaroos are seen jumping, somewhere there are snow-covered mountains which give a feeling of cold. Each place has its own atmosphere and its own problems. All this is making the game more interesting, but it can be a bit confusing in the beginning.

This time the action is also strong
In the trailer, Sam can be seen firing guns, jumping from vehicles and fighting with enemies. Some parts feel like stealth, while others feel more like an action film. If you liked the action before, you'll love this one even more. Some of the fights feel smooth, while others feel a little chaotic, but they add to the pace of the game.

There's still the tension of picking up stuff
Like before, picking up stuff is still a part of the game, but now it's made tougher because of floods and earthquakes. Stuff falls on the way, but now the vehicles have grappling cables so you can pick up stuff quickly. Still, it feels like the game still wants to tease you a little.

New suits and upgraded system
You now get new suits and skeleton gear that help with balance and movement. There's also a system called APAS that lets you upgrade yourself to suit your play style—whether it's fighting, stealth, or making deliveries. It feels like a touch more like an RPG game.

Music and photo mode
The music now changes with the game's activity—faster in battle, and softer in peace. Songs by Woodkid and Forssell add to the drama. There's also a Photo Mode that lets you pose in-game and take some great photos—which will be loved by those who share them on social media.
