Battlefield 6 PC System Requirements Confirmed

After almost four years, Battlefield 6 will officially launch on October 10, bringing back EA's military shooter franchise. The anticipation is strong following an open beta that smashed previous records. Developers have now released the official PC system requirements, and folk are hopefully that Battlefield 6 will not only be improved from the disappointment of Battlefield 2042 but could actually challenge Call of Duty this year.

System Specs by Presets
The game will be at its best, the "ultimate" experience of running at 4K 60 fps on ultra settings or 1440p 144 fps on high, with the absolute highest end PC specs, which requires an RTX 4080 or RX 7900 XTX graphics card and a Core i9-12900K or Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, and 32GB of ram (In an ideal world we've got you covered).

The second best—optimal but more approachable—way to play would be an RTX 3060Ti or RX 6700 XT with a Core i7-10700 or Ryzen 7 3700X with 16GB of ram.

For the minimum specs, the game will be able to run with an RTX 2060 or RX 5600 XT with a Core i5-8400 or Ryzen 5 2600 and 16GB of ram.

Strong Hype Before Launch
These updated specs look very similar to the specs provided from the beta, with the addition of the "Ultra" preset aimed at high-spec PC players. EA has mentioned that players who ran the beta smoothly will probably be able to run the full release with the same performance. I took note of the hype over the title, and building excitement around it is already paying off, because Battlefield 6's momentum has brought many players back into its predecessor, which just passed Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and NFL Madden Man 2023 for concurrent players on Steam last week
