Players around the world will also find a variety of raids, bonuses, and more content during GO Fest Global. Attendees have already begun experiencing GO Fest events in person, with a preview event in Tokyo giving the first look at Mega Mewtwo. The next in-person stops will be in Chicago and Copenhagen in June.
Events & Community Days The Forever Forward season will feature three Community Day events, starting on June 20. The specific Pokémon has not yet been officially named, but developers are already teasing an Ice-type Pokémon as the featured species for June's Community Day.
Forever Forward will not have a Community Day Classic event like the Memories in Motion season. In the near term, players will have a chance to take on a series of limited Team Leader quests running from May 26 through June 15, where players can complete missions set by team leaders. Candela, Blanche, and Spark centred around catching Pokémon, hatching eggs, and winning battles.
Limited GO Passes will be available during this time as well, giving players a chance to earn costumed versions of Lapras, Elekid, and Ponyta as rewards. 10th Anniversary at the Heart of Forever Forward: Pokémon GO turns ten on July 6, 2026, and the Forever Forward season appears to have been designed around that milestone at its core.
Memories in Motion was all about nostalgia, whereas Forever Forward is expected to be about the future of the game and not dwelling on the past, as the name suggests.
